Click to view the list of Safety Training for Emergency Preparedness at Schools (STEPS) courses in each category. All STEPS courses are open to all LAUSD employees and are available on MyPLN. Please note that salary points are NOT available for STEPS courses. When you have completed all courses, you are eligible to receive a "Master Certificate of Emergency Preparedness". Send a notification email including your employee number and your name as you would like it to appear on the master certificate to [email protected].
100 Level Courses - All Employees
200 Level Courses - Classroom level personnel, such as Teachers and Classroom Aides
300 Level Courses - School Police Officers
400 Level Courses- School level personnel, such as Administrators and Coordinators
Log in to MyPLN to take STEPS classes!
After you log in to MyPLN, Select STEPS from the program dropdown menu or search STEPS, and click on the STEPS course title you would like to take.
